Seeking an Architect to lead cloud integration and migration efforts for our existing, operational capabilities. Our full-motion video and geospatial solutions transform intelligence ecosystems into a capability advantage for our DoD and Intelligence community clients. We are seeking talented system architects to design, architect, and implement cloud solutions tailored to the unique requirements of our Enterprise architecture. You will work with internal product development and third-party vendor solutions, providing technical input to architecture and design plans ensuring the successful integration of the end-to-end solution. The successful candidate will have experience in cloud solutions and capabilities, deploying IT systems for the DoD along with knowledge of DoD accreditation processes.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, architect, and implement cloud solutions tailored to the unique security and operational needs of Department of Defense clients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define requirements and offer technical guidance in the creation of cloud-based solutions that align with the unique capabilities of the existing on-premises architecture.
Lead engineering efforts to migrate the current solution to a cloud-based architecture.
Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Provide guidance and support for continuous monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery.
Assist in conducting security assessments, audits, and compliance checks to validate that our cloud solutions meet or exceed Department of Defense requirements and security standards.
Minimum Job Requirements:
DoD SECRET with the ability to obtain a Top SECRET clearance.
Four-year college degree in a related technical field, plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or the combined equivalent of education and experience.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with a proven track record in cloud architecture, services, integration and migration.
Experience engineering solutions, consisting of networks (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), applications and 3rd party IT systems.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams to define, implement and support the new, cloud-based architecture.
Understanding of DoD security requirements and implications for cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with container-based architectures including container orchestration using Kubernetes a plus.
Familiarity with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) concepts of operation and the network architecture employed to disseminate Full Motion Video a plus.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in office .
